1st half 19th century - Vintage - used with visible signs of wear

Powerful Hawaiian God made of hard wood probably Iron wood .
One eye in shell . The right is missing .
Both feet are broken . The figure was probably at the top of a post .

During ceremonies, God images like this one were displayed in temple grounds .

Was discovered in a flea market in Manchester and has been in French private collection since. Exact history lost .
