Half a meter high triple holy altar candelabrum - Louis XIV - Yellow Copper
France - Early 20th century

Heavy cast yellow coper pipe candlestick with a fluted stem with nodes, presumably from a monastery or church that was destroyed during the First World War. Standing on a heavy three-sided pedestal with lion’s feet, with high-relief depictions of Mary, the Sacred Heart and God’s Holy Name in cartouches. The pipe candlestick, that has a grease trap with a diameter of 10 cm, is suitable for candles with a diameter of approx 2.5 cm.
