This is the most famous of all stage lanterns / spotlights outside the industry due to Abba's smash hit Super Trouper from 1980 (photo Abba in a super trouper beam).
It is approx. 1.45 m wide x 1.50 m high (in crossed position) and the foot measures 70 cm in diameter

Not new but very neat incl. wiring Lamp in it is faulty 1 small black glass faulty side. (see photo 1)
Background Information: when the Strong super Trouper spotlight was introduced in 1956, it was the brightest spotlight in the world. Originally it had a carbon arc light source, carbon light arc lamp of a high intensity producing a nearly snow-white spot which set the artist apart from ambient stage lighting but this was replaced by a Xenon discharge lamp in 1971. Super Trouper is the registered trademark of a series of spotlights that are used in stadiums, for concerts and for special events. The lights were made by Strong Lightning from Omaha, NE, who took over the Super Trouper and its big cousin, the Gladiator from its former manufacturer Syncrolite (source: Wikipedia)
