Great and impressive charity fund,
Made of yellow copper.
Handmade by a Jewish artist from Poland, from the city of Krakow from the 1920s
Used to collect donations for those in need in the synagogue.
On the charity box there are paintings of angels and in the centre of the box is the word "charity" in Hebrew.
Lions are guarding the box on both sides and it is opened by moving the roof so that the money collected can be taken out.
The box is in excellent condition.
