This well-preserved, original dial has light patina in the area around the indices, as well as by the 6 o'clock position. The text "ZENITH Automatic" looks as though it is printed, but was probably painted on later. The dial was probably very professionally restored. The timepiece runs reliably, very well and is accurate with a reduced amplitude. This watch can be worn immediately!
The automatic movement works flawlessly. The timepiece begins running immediately when moved. The casing is in very good condition. The steel casing shows only a few light- to medium signs of use. All parts of the watch (except the strap and crown) are original Zenith. According to the unobtrusive engraving on the bolted base lid, the watch comes from 1954. The calibre number suggests it was made in 1954/5. So, all parts of the watch belong together.
