Very beautiful zamac statuette, signed "Rancoulet", slightly damaged, the character holds in his left hand an object broken at its base, everything is well photographed, please look carefully at all the pictures of the statuette.
The magic in Rancoulet's art is the translation of movement into matter.
The sculptor Ernest Rancoulet used mainly bronze, it can be patinated or in zamak, a material that is democratised in its use and less expensive than bronze.
Ernest Rancoulet's work can represent both characters from mythology, as well as men and women in their daily activities. This in small statuettes of approximately fifty centimetres.
Happy bidding.
