A magnificent sculpture of a lady sitting on a rock with a mandolin.
The work is titled 'Mignon' and is made in extreme detail from fine quality bronze.
Because of the mandolin and the title of the sculpture makes this possibly a reference to the eponymous opera by Ambroise Thomas (1866).
Made with great craftsmanship by Hippolyte Francois Moreau (1832-1927).
Dating: around 1900.
Height: 49 cm
Width: 18 cm.
Depth: 18 cm.
Weight: 10.7 KG.
It is signed 'H. Moreau' and stands on a rotating pedestal with the text 'Mignon-par h. Moreau-Médaille d'Or'.
It is in very good condition, the photos speak for themselves.
A beautiful and decorative bronze sculpture!
It will be carefully packed and sent by registered mail (additionally insured and with track & trace).
