Ancient vase - .800 silver - Italy - 1872/1934
Good condition - used with small signs of aging & blemishes - 326 g

VASE, embossed and decorated with leafy motifs and palmettes, with a pod shaped cup and two small handles.
It consists of three parts: base, stem and cup.
The three parts are hallmarked with the turreted head of Italy, a hallmark used between 1872 and 1934.
The piece has no silversmith’s hallmark, as many other silverware pieces of the very same period.
The item shows some minor faults, but no breaks.
Height 21.5 cm. Cup max. diameter 9.5 cm.The base is resting on four semi-spherical hollow feet.
Base dimensions 12 x 12 cm.
Stem max. diameter: 6.9 cm.
