M Travies/H. Gobin voor Buffon/Flourens - 44 hand-coloured engravings of mammals

Nice set of 44 hand-coloured engravings from 'oevres completes de Buffon, annotées par M. Flourens'. If you ask me, this is the Buffon set with the most beautiful illustrations.

These engravings have some water damage. That means that the condition is only reasonable. The prints have water stains and discolourations and are sometimes tanned and have (some) damage to the drawing (but I have included this one anyway). The paper is not straight and smooth but a bit uneven.
But for a true enthusiast, they are still very nice images. The set contains the following prints:
