Atkin Brothers - Sheffield - Cutlery, Dish, Silver plated 4 person luncheon set comprising domed butter dishes and antique knives (8) - Victorian - Silverplate
U.K. - Late 19th century

Elegant silver plated butter dish set for 4 persons with matching knives. The oval dishes have domed lids with seal-top finials and are hand-chased with scroll and floral design.

The knives are made by the Atkin Brothers, Sheffield c. 1880's; the butter dishes are made c. 1930's.

knives - 20 cm long
butter dishes - 9 x 6.5 cm across, 3.5 cm tall

Great antique condition, no wear to silvering. There are small tool marks visible around the edges and inside the butter dishes; one knife has a slightly raised tip.
