The unusually well maintained grainy dial is almost free of patina. Only minor, small defects can be seen. Only fragments of the light point at 6 o'clock are intact. The dial has probably been restored professionally. The text "ZENITH" looks as though it is printed, but was probably painted on later. The hands and the indices have a slight patina. The watch runs reliably and precisely with a low amplitude. If the watch is worn, a service could be required in a few months. The date changes flawlessly.
The gold plating of the casing is in a good, original condition. Only light to medium signs of wear are visible. The lugs have stronger signs of wear. One of the horns has a dent. The casing is marked with a "Z" for "Zenith" next to the crown. Between the lugs is the mark "PLAQUE G20". All parts of the watch (except the strap and crown) are original Zenith.
