Great photo collection of S. MG. Komp. Inf. Rgt. 50 with 37 pictures, all very cleanly glued with photo corners.
Machine guns from the family 08 were still occasionally used during the Second World War.
The MG 08 was water-cooled and mounted on a height-adjustable sledge. At the beginning of world War I, Germany owned 4,919 pieces of MG 08. The weapon was too heavy to follow its own infantry on foot.
