2nd half 20th century - Good condition, used with some signs of wear

Nail fetish in a human form, the right hand is raised, with mirrored eyes. The head has been painstakingly worked.
On the body, at belly height, is a mirrored glass container with magical substances, studded with nails and iron for the fulfilment of wishes.
The wide-open mouth is said to release magical powers.
The nkisi wards off warlocks, thieves, murderers and adulterers. It is inhabited by the spirit of an ancestor or a victim of sorcery.

Acquired in 1987 in Namibia (Swakopmund).
