A rare caricatural sculpture of a monkey dressed as a monk, wearing the typical monk's hood. The monkey has bulging, almond shape eyes and a mouth opened as if he was singing.

This sculpture is part of the medieval bestiary, wherein animals dressed as people were mocking the religious clergy.
