Description
Finely-washed hand-washing fountain, 2 modules - Verona Red Marble - 20th century
Italy, Venice

Magnificent Fountain Basin in red Verona Marble, from a Church. Origin: from an ancient chapel of Venice. The item consists of two modules.
It’s worth mentioning the hand-carved pod shaped decoration (baccellatura), obtained by carving the marble by hand.
Unique, one of a kind piece! Extremely rare not only because of its beauty, but above all for being intact in all its parts.
The “Verona” is one of the most valuable and prestigious existing types of marble. Both the basin shape and especially the phenomenal marble vein and colour are particularly remarkable, in an extraordinarily uncommon shade of red.
Excellent workmanship, fine, elegant, perfect and intact in all its parts.
It can be used in various ways, even as outdoor or indoor fountain.
In case of shipping, it will be delivered in wooden crate, after proper packaging.
Safe and tracked shipping throughout Italy, Europe and the rest of the world at reasonable rates.
The item is also available for pickup at our warehouse.
