Peculiar tile in Istrian marble engraved with a particular Venetian proverb in Venetian dialect. They used to be hung in various areas of the city’s districts. Venetian private collection.

In particular, this proverb invites us to meditate on the fact that time is never enough and we must hurry, translated into English it would sound like ‘The sun eats the hours’.
