The Pàtera is an ornamental bas-relief of circular shape, typical of the Venetian lagoon, they were also used to furnish places of worship.
This one depicts a lion, a symbol of strength inspired by Greek culture. There are very few of these left, since many were either stolen or destroyed.
High quality and workmanship, remarkable marble manufacture. Perfect when hung on the wall. Limited in size and well proportioned.
In very good condition and intact.
