Made in : German Democratic Republic.

The barn find has not been used since 1990.
Found in an old shed.
The tyres are hard.


Original paint, never resprayed!
With old GDR documents.

Engine block is loose!
Original fuel dipstick and spare wheel included.

Not entirely complete (headlights and indicator covers are missing)
The bonnet is loose on top.

A very nice restoration project or nice for advertising purposes.

The Trabant became world-famous when the Berlin wall fell in 1989. Long caravans of Trabants with East Germans drove over the German border after the fall of the wall, but in the years that followed Trabants disappeared from streets when Western car brands became available for East German customers.

The Trabant can be seen and picked up in Ewijk (Gelderland), Holland.
