Gekko Ogata: born in 1859 in Edo, son of a merchant. When he was 16 years old, his father passed away and his family lost their business. He was adopted by the Ogata family (a family of artists) and became Ogata Gekko.
This woodcut is a unique opportunity to acquire a superb and original print by Ogata Gekko with seal and signature.
