Very nice and large mixed media on paper work by Moshe Tamir (1924-2004). Tamir was born in Russia and immigrated to Israel in 1931. After leaving the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem in 1944, he moved to the Fine Arts Academy in Rome, Italy, graduating in 1952. He completed his advance studies at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1955.

Tamir won several renomated prices and his work is visible in many international musea: Moshe Tamir Collection at Presler Private Museum, Tel Aviv; Museum of Jerusalem; Victoria and Albert Museum London, Denver art museum, ...

Very typical work of Tamir, 98 x 66cm with beautiful colors.
