Settimo Ferri attended the art institute Dosso Dossi in Ferrara.
Since 1948 he stayed in Rome at the studio of the painter, sculptor and architect Prof. Beruschi, having various experiences.
He began his first pictorial experiences copying the works by the great masters, but then he devoted himself continuously to painting, according to his aspirations.
In 1956 he moved to Milan with his family, where he started to give free play to his talent with great commitment. In addition to Milan, he presented solo exhibitions in different towns of northern Italy with the support of experts and renowned art galleries, receiving very positive and encouraging reviews.
He entered the world of painting by right, he met great masters and so he could discuss with them and refine his expressive technique.
