A beautiful and rare designer jug complete with cap. This was specially issued on the occasion of the abdication of Queen Juliana and the enthronement of Queen Beatrix on 30 April 1980. Handmade in Holland and name of the maker is unclear.
Also a beautiful little cup issued on the occasion of the marriage of Beatrix and Claus on March 10, 1966. Made by, Royal Sphinx Regout of Maastricht - with a spoon.
According to good Dutch tradition, Orange Bitters is especially bottled and served on celebratory days of the Royal family. This jug was specially made on the occasion of the abdication of Queen Juliana and the enthronement of Queen Beatrix on 30 April 1980. On the reverse side of the jug is the explanatory text.
