Elegant and Rare Pentagonal Art Deco Vase - .800 silver - MARIO BUCCELLATI - Italy - First half 20th century
Excellent condition - barely used with minimal signs of aging & wear - 960 g

Refined vase, coming from a remarkable collection of Italian silverware, made and signed by Mario Buccellati during the first half of the 20th century

The vase has a pentagonal shape; the surface of each side has a sandblasted finish and is embellished with the application of a flower with stylized leaves; among the sides, there’s a charming row of beads of decreasing size.

A similar vase was mentioned in the volume "Mario Buccellati: storie di uomini e gioielli, Leonardo Arte, 1998", as per attached pictures.

Dimensions: height 32 cm, top diameter 15 cm

Weight: 960 grams.

In good condition, with slight traces of zapon painting (not very accentuated).
