Lot of two Japanese woodblock prints, original and signed.
The first print, on the left in the picture, is an
original Japanese woodblock print and signed by Utagawa Yoshiiku (1833 - 1904).
It is from 1860 and is part of the
"The courtesans of the new Yoshiwara parading under cherry trees at night" series.
There are wear marks on each of the print's corners except on the top left corner which
is lightly creased.
The second original and signed print has a light blue background and is by Kunisada Utagawa known as Toyokuni III (1786 - 1864).
It is part of a triptych which features kabuki circa 1858.
This print has pricking marks on the top and bottom right corners,
as well as one in the middle.
Size: 36 x 24 cm (oban) both prints.
