2nd half 20th century - Excellent condition, barely used with minimal signs of wear
BOZO helmets were worn during ceremonies of seed fertility, after the first rains
and for the harvests of the 3 grains: fonio, wild rice and corn; they are thus propitiatory rites
and festivities of the premises of the first fruit of the earth.
