Diptych of original Japanese shunga erotic woodblock prints made by an unknown artist of Utagawa School (歌川派).

The sumizuri-e (墨摺絵) black and white double page illustration is taken from a shunga book entitled Tsuma Kasane Yuki no Akebono (妻重雪の曙), i.e. "Adulterous Women: Snowy Morning".

Depicted a couple of lovers hugging maliciously after dinner while he solicits the woman.

The woodblock prints date back to around 1850 and are in fair general conditions.

The fine work on Japanese washi paper is not signed because of the censorship.

Size of each page: 11,5 x 17,5 cm

The woodcuts will be well-packaged and shipped by registered mail with a tracking code.
