Ch. Toulet - Carom Billiard - Copper, Wood- Oak

Description
Ch. Toulet - Carom Billiard - Copper, Wood- Oak
France - mid 20th century

This billiard is a Ch. Toulet, perhaps from before the 1970s. This would be the billiard that comes from the castle of the famous Baron Empain.
"The Baron whose finger was cut off during his abduction as evidence to the family."

This billiards table is made by masters in woodworking - which can be seen in the elaborate wooden legs and the polished finish around the table.

The table outside the top has a beautiful unrivalled patina.

The counters nearly all work. Carpet needs to be renewed.

This is a collectors item for enthusiasts and with a unique story. Told to me by the heirs from whom we bought their property.

This can be picked up with us, we do not arrange transport.

There are 2 sets of balls and 5 billiard cues, but these may also have to be replaced.
