A pair of hand-painted wooden tables, probably from Sicily. On the central turned foot are painted two faces, one male and one female; everything suggests that these tables were made on commission. Good stability, considering the elegance of the thin turned foot.
The tops are painted with the following subjects:
- ruins of the "Temple of Castor and Pollux" located in the Valley of the Temples of Agrigento
“St George and the Dragon”
Top diameter: 50 cm; height 80 cm.
In good condition, with slight signs of wear.
