After starting a career as a musician he dedicated himself full-time to painting, experimenting with surrealist and abstract shapes.
From 1980 onward, he dedicated himself almost exclusively to old Naples, depicting on board antique views of the Neapolitan everyday life, now almost completely disappeared.
