Roger Hebbelinck, Belgian artist, born on 12 August 1912 in Brussels. Roger is still alive in 2019 and is currently 107 years old.

Roger Hebbelinck worked as a painter, watercolourist, etcher and filmmaker. He was best known for his etchings. He was a pupil of A. Bastien, J. Delville, G. Van Strydonck, A. Stevens, I. Van Mens, J. Van Santen and P. Mathieu with whom he studied at the Academy of Brussels.

At the Brussels Academy he was taught painting in watercolours by I. van Mens and engraving by J. van Santen. He etched a large number of picturesque nooks in historical cities. He made etchings for the book Les Villages Illusoires by E. Verhaeren.
