An excellent antique late Ming Chinese porcelain charger with a central decoration of a scholar in an amazing rock landscape with a fisherman in a boat at sea in a nice underglaze blue. In the border an exceptional decoration of the three or four friends of cold winter and four dreaming scholars on a rock with a cloud above their heads. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Ming dynasty, 1600-1650. On the backside a decoration of circles, stripes and dots. Guaranteed original and of the stated period.

Diameter: 31,3 centimeter.

Condition: The object is in good condition, normal fritting/mouse bites, one hairline and baking flaw on the rim, without any restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
