Mantel clock - Marble - 1880

Description
Mantel clock - Marble - 1880
Mechanical - more day movement - wakes up the bell

Beautiful French table or mantle clock made of black/inlaid marble with alarm clock on bell from circa 1880. The movement has a fixed pendulum and is signed with the decorative letter M. The dial is made of porcelain, is undamaged and has elegant numerals.
There is no glass in front of the dial, the time is set by turning the "large" minutes hand. The alarm time is set by turning the third hand in the direction of the arrow, depicted on the dial.
The clock is richly decorated with bronze ornaments on the top and two pillars along the sides, this gives the clock its unique appearance.

The clock functions properly.
Both the movement and the alarm function.

The lot will be packaged with care and shipped by registered post with T&T.
