Stunning incense burner, decorated with birds and elephants in relief - Bronze - Japan - Meiji era (1868–1912)
A beautiful incense burner, resting on a base with four legs (elephant trunks). Front and back are decorated with birds and flowers in relief. Handle consists of two birds with 2 beautifully shaped rings hanging from them. The burner has a beautiful patina. Dating from the late 19th century. Heavy quality.
Condition: In good condition. Signs of wear matching its age.
