Louis Rigaux (Overijse, 1887-1954). Post-impressionist painter and etcher of still lifes and portraits. Painter of the Brabant landscape, of the poetry of old Flemish cities and of flowers still lifes in bright colours. Member of Uccle Centre d'Art. Lived in the Justus Lipsiushuis inhabiting Overijse.
Studied at the academy for fine arts in Brussels. Lived and worked in Overijssel (Belgium). Painted romantic landscapes, city- and village views, portraits and still-life.
