Internationally renowned French artist, Alain Bonnefoit has displayed his art in over 200 personal exhibitions worldwide! His women, dressed (rarely) or nude, soft and languid, are a permanent ode to the permanence of feminine beauty. His technique is a mixture of the Japanese ‘Sumi-e’ (a whole drawing made in India ink with a single freehanded line) and conventional oil painting with a preference for Mediterranean colours.
The softness and the light of this artwork exacerbate the charm and natural beauty of this gorgeous young woman. It is about suggestion rather than depiction.
