A very well-preserved officer dragon sabre Shashka.
Sublimely decorated brass hilt with a black, grooved horn handle with a thumb cap. On the back of the cap is the Cyrillic cipher of Tsar Alexander II.
Beautifully preserved blade, polished with slight rust scars. The sheath is made entirely of wood and covered with leather, with brass fittings, they are adapted to the typical Russian wearing style. Place plate of the sheath, due to shrinking of the wood, was slightly pierced with the blade.
