Vase - Kutani - Porcelain - Marked 'Fuku' 福 - Japan - Meiji period (1868-1912)
A delightful porcelain vase, standing 23½cm tall and weighing 732g, carried by three children with a further two sitting upon the shoulders. Finely painted in polychrome enamels with landscape scenery in one cartouche and two figures in the other, one of which is a Hotei.
Marked to the underside with Kutani "Fu Ku" ("good luck") mark in seal script.
Condition: Very good, no damages or repairs.
