This curious and good-looking poster shows the most famous (notorious?) native of Tongeren, namely the imposing bronze statue of Ambiorix Eburonen king from 1866 on the Grote Markt in Tongeren, which honours the memorable victory on the Romans in 54 BC Not for nothing Julius Caesar called the Belgians the bravest Gauls. Ambiorix poses in Germanic traditional costume, with a battle axe and a dragon helmet.
