The work of Brusse is generally referred to as poetic.

Mark Brusse is represented in the collections of the Museum van Bommel van Dam in Venlo and CODA museum in Apeldoorn. In addition, his work is included in the corporate collections of, among others, Fontijs art collection Eindhoven and art collection KPN the Hague.
