Yard o Led Regent 925 silver ballpoint pen

In 1934 Ludwig Brenner went from Germany to London and
he registered his patent on an existing spring propulsion mechanism, invented by Sampson Mordan, which allowed the pencil to hold 12 three-inch leads, thus providing one metre of pencil lead length.
All pencils contain one metre of 12 x 3’’ lead, from which the name Yard-O-Led comes.

Pen for sale, The Regent, embodies the heavily decorated designs typical of the late 19th century.
The clean hexagonal shape combines with the traditional characteristics of Victorian design, and it is engraved with barley design 7590, it is fitted with a rotation mechanism.

Traditionally, gentlemen smoked using the flat tip of the pen to compress tobacco when turned on.
Each pen or pencil is handcrafted in marked 925 sterling silver, individually numbered and supplied with a lifetime warranty.

New pen, complete with leather pen holder, warranty, and cleaning cloth, all contained in its blue box.
