Thuya wood veneered writing box with inlay of brass, rosewood, and mother-of-pearl. The rosewood glued interior has various compartments, two ink jars and a red leather writing area. Includes the key and a working lock.
In good condition. On the lid, two pieces of veneer are of later date. Overall some minor restorations and damage. The small lid must be pushed firmly to close the box. Please see the photos, they are part of the description.
