For auction is a medium-heavy design sabre weighing 1.5 kg, although it can be called a heavy sabre.
The sabre was used by mounted artillery batteries.
Solid iron grip with handle flaps, wooden hilt coated with leather, with traces of wear. Heavy blade with double-sided hollow track, double-edged with residual sharpness to the point, blade shows rust scars, but the consistency of the blade is in very good condition. Comes with the associated stamps, see photo. Heavy iron scabbard with double-sided carrying eyelet, with rigid ring band with eyelet. Still with partially original, field-grey K.u.K. Painting, also has some rust marks, but not rusted through.
