Imao Keinen 尾 景 年, Kyoto (1845–1924)
Japanese painter and print designer (Meiji Period, 1868-1912) who was part of the shin-hanga movement (meaning "new engravings").
Published by Tanaka Jihei in Kyoto in 1891.

These woodblock prints are a unique opportunity to acquire two beautiful original prints by Imao Keinen.
Format of the öban tate-e prints: 368 x 257 mm. (the two trace copies are slightly larger while the third one is smaller)
Prints: very good condition, fresh and bright colours. No creases, 9 binding holes, no effect on the print.
The trace copies (photos 11-12 and 22-25) in reasonable condition given the age and fineness of the paper. Creases, 4 binding holes, some stains, small flaws and tears.
