A fine silver pendant containing two fine miniature paintings on mother of pearl behind the original glass of Saint Joseph holding the Christ child in a landscape surrounded by trees and of Our Lady of Guadalupe standing on a crescent moon, as patroness of the Americas. The silver frame with a cabled border.

Spanish-Colonial art. Mexico. Early 19th century.
