Comes from the monastery chapel of a closed abbey. This original lamp has a diameter of approx 15 cm and is whirl-shaped. A cross sign hangs from the tip. The top edge is openwork with ongoing fine symbols, as well as halfway through the whirl shape. The lamp is equipped with three fixed vertical handles, in which ornate birds are incorporated. Three 32 cm long chains of delicately decorated links are attached to the handles. The chains come together in a round heat shield that hangs from a single chain. The total length is approx. 100 cm. The lamp holds a removable purple glass cup for burning a candle, tea light or oil. It is in good condition with few signs of use. Has been polished frequently.
