This is the Second Model 1866 Allin Conversion in cal 50/70.
this is the shorter 2 barrel band version, with a 36 inch barrel
Flayderman item 9A-356 P578.
Lock is dated behind the trigger 1864, for the hammer the spread eagle and Springfield Armory
The action on the hammer is strong.
The breechblock has the eagle head and 1866 on top of it,
Inspector marks on the barrel, US on the butt plate
An outstanding bore
The letters EW in the rear of the stock, probably done by its owner
this rifle is in the white, and is in outstanding condition
