Comtoise - Late copper farmers show - Second half 19th century
Mechanical - 8 day movement - half hour, one bell

Original, neat French comtoise clock with an eight-day anchor escapement movement.
The clock is in well-functioning condition and runs and strikes properly.

The dial is pristine, apart from a number of hairline cracks.
Neat brass foil feuille, depicting a "Farmer with plough".

The movement was cleaned professionally, and restored where needed.
The clock was fitted with new red strings for the running and striking mechanism.

The clock comes complete with bracket and winding key.
