An excellent Neapolitan gilt wood carving of a Moorish King standing in a greeting pose. Wearing long boots, a buttoned coat beneath a long cape and a shorter fur cape. The left hand holding on to a bejeweled crowned turban on top of the head.
The cape bearing remnants of an indecipherable paper label.
Standing 29.5 cm tall
Condition - Generally very good for its age. Some gilding missing and chips to the cape and crown.
