BIOGRAPHY
In his youth, Umberto Coromaldi attended the Rome Fine Arts Institute and A. Mancini 's atelier . In 1911, he decorated "The Fishing Pavillon" of the International Exhibition of Rome and in 1913 joined the innovative group of "Roman Secession".

THE PAINTING (1905-1915)
belongs to the period when he joined (1905) the group "The XXV of Roman Country" painting mostly Lazio scapes & customs and from 1910 mostly animals in a sketchy, impressionist style, influenced deeply by A. Mancini and slightly by Michetti and Divisionists .

EXPERTISE
Canvas & loom are over 100 years old . The tests at direct/ oblique natural light, by Wood's lamp and by light solvents show that the pictorial film is over 100 years old and the signature coeve .
