Plate (1) - Porcelain - China - 19th century

Description
Plate (1) - Porcelain - China - 19th century
Fair condition, see description - 2×22.5×22.5 cm

This plate can't be missing from any collection! A beautiful, unique, very fine and delicately painted Famille Verte full plate. Because most plates have an edge decoration Full Plate plates are exceptionally rare and almost impossible to find.

The representation consists of an elaborate landscape decoration with a fishing boy alongside the river on the back of a buffalo, a warrior with a sword on a horse and a philosopher with a pupil etc.

This plate has had a long and hard life, which can be seen from the damage to the edges. I tried to indicate this as clearly as possible in the pictures. Despite the damage it remains a beautiful and unique copy.

Condition:

- Multile larger and smaller edge frittings
- 1 hairline crack on the edge
- 1 hairline crack in the centre of the plate
- NO restorations

All our products are professionally packaged and shipped by registered and insured post.

Advantique
